Conflict Minerals Statement
The mining and trading of conflict minerals financially supported armed forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries, and resulted in major bloody (armed) conflicts and human rights violations in the region. Therefore, the US Congress stipulated the Dodd-Frank Act in 2011 and formulated a law regarding conflict minerals in Section 1502, requiring a declaration of the use of any conflict minerals (3TG), including gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), and tungsten (W), in products or manufacturing processes, to disclose whether any conflict mineral produced from DRC or adjoining countries are used.‎

To fulfill customer and legal expectations and to implement corporate social responsibilities (CSR), ADATA is committed to managing its supply chain, by promoting the Requirement to Prohibit the Use of Conflict Mineral and regularly tracing the sources of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), and tungsten (W) contents in the products, to ensure that the use of 3TG minerals in ADATA products are not from the conflict mineral mining area, thereby thoroughly implementing CSR.
